Sick joke (best viewed with Google Chrome).

my (and my blog's) reputation is so going down the drain after this disastrous post.
sorry for the low class and bad English, equally bad alignment and screwed up font sizes.
copied and pasted this from a forwarded email.
couldn't be bothered to convert it into another format and post it up.
come to think of it, it's not worth my time.
haha.
but I can't resist.
this is too funny!

clarification: #20 is not me.
I repeat, number twenty is NOT me.

THIS is me.
you can so tell that I'm much cuter than #20 right?
I look NOTHING like #20.
lol.
I am a nineteen-year-old from Sarawak, pursuing Chemical Engineering.
my Chinese name is Lee Huong Tiing, not some failed attempt to translate the name 'Michelle' to Mandarin pinyin.
I get 'Mee Suet' (some shit like that) everytime someone tries to "say my name in Mandarin".
screw it ok.
please lah.

just posting this up for fun.
lol.
this is gonna be the first and last time I'm doing rubbish like this.
for once, don't sue me.
Photobucket
p.s. this is obviously someone's idea of a sick joke.
I personally think that the photos are editted.
not sure about it, though.

Emotional.

back from badminton and supper.
I ended up playing badminton with Brendan.
X)

went for supper at King's Centre.
ate char kueh tiaw with hum.
had a "Mandarin" lesson where Ham demonstrated his Mandarin-speaking "skills".
-_-"
then Jason brought up the topic about the Science and Mathematics language medium being reverted back to BM.
damn stupid lor I think.
kolien three of my sisters who kena.
I mean, the idea is just so ridiculous.
X(

Mel drove Jason, Marcel and me home.
after dropping Jason and Marcel off, Mel and I had a mini emo session.
we talked about how great our friends back in Kuching are.
and how sad it would be to see most of them fly overseas to study in the months/years to come.
I would definitely be upset when I come home to Kuching to no Shaemiee, Jason, Dylan, Alvin, Marcel, Ee Rong and all.
at least I still have Ham and Kerry.
but that's about it.
no more Chinese New Year third day visiting.
no more pool.
no more DotA.
no more sports.
no more supper.
no more night life.
T_T

I have no idea why I feel so emotional tonight.
Mel's having the same problem too.

Blogging from the badminton court.

pathetic much?
here I am, blogging, because there's not enough courts, not enough racquets and I don't have enough skills.
and I really have to decide on my badminton hand.

I am ambidextrous.
I can say that my left hand is more "useful" compared to my right hand.
the thing is, I used to play badminton with my right hand.
but I realized that it's too weak to hold up a squash racquet.
so I started to play squash with my left hand.
it wasn't too bad.

I played a really short game with Mel and Dylan just now, using my right hand.
then I switched hands; played with my left.
seems that I can aim better with my left hand now.
so yeah, it's just badminton.

going for supper later.
XP
I want to play DotA.
Photobucket
p.s. last night, BOY told me that it's good now that I finally have a life.

Crazy driving and crazy DotA game.

I drove the car for the whole day.
and I went for two hours' worth of violin lessons.
my left biceps are aching.

so this was what happened today:

kakak woke me up at 11.45a.m. because I had to fetch Maybelle from school at 12.30p.m.
(note: Mummy's not around; she went to Sibu.)
drove to Lodge.
got my sister.
drove home.

went online.
screw Restaurant City for not working.

drove to Avant Garde for violin class at 2.00p.m. with Marie.
scales today were bad.
learned fourth and fifth positions.
didn't play any exam piece.

got a ticket for overparking.
drove over to CIMB to pay for the ticket.
then went to CIMB to upgrade my account.
got a summon for not displaying a parking coupon.
wth?
I actually forgot about it.
X(

missed call from Dylan.
called him back.
he was playing pool with Ham.
drove Marie home.
joined them.
played two games.
went to Expert to drink.
brought Dylan with me to pay for the summon at MBKS.
it was 5.00p.m.
sigh.
bo pien.
go tomorrow lor.

drove to ArcoStrings to get my tuner.
RM80 omg.
O_O

drove to Star Cineplex to ask about Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tickets.
nothing.
the only piece of information we got regarding the movie is that the premiere is on 16 July.
-_-"
what a waste of RM1 parking fee.

drove to school to fetch Mil at 6.00p.m.
on the way to Dylan's, we decided to watch Ice Age 3 tonight.
yes, we haven't seen it yet after so many nights of planning.
-_-"

drove home.
went into the house for ten minutes.
got back into the car.
drove Maddy and Marie to tuition.

drove back home.
took my shower.
Dylan texted.
I was assigned to fetch Marcel and Alvin.
Jason would go on his own later.

drove to Marcel's.
drove to Saberkas to get Alvin.
drove to Open Air to meet up with Dylan, Ham and Brendan.
had mee sapi and char kueh.
and guess what?
yes.
just when I thought we were finally gonna watch Ice Age 3, they all decided to play pool.
-_-"

raced with Ham to the snookerium at Jalan Song.
celaka Ham nearly scratched my car.
thanks to his overflowing kiasu spirit.
-_-"
Ham paired up with Dylan.
Brendan with Marcel.
Alvin with me.
we played a few games against each other.
saw Nadia.
and Alvin's brother, Randy.
lol.
busted!
but Alvin played, anyway.
but I scored most of the time (I think?).
XP

left for GizmoGamers when Jason arrived with Mel.
tonight's games weren't very interesting, but it was crazy.
the Sentinel - me, Dylan, Ham, Alvin.
the Scourge - Jason, Marcel, Mel, Brendan.

first game:
-ap mode.
Phantom Lancer.
freaking shitty because SOME PEOPLE *cough*Dylan*cough*Ham*cough* freaking ks-ed me!!!
there was this one time I nearly killed Jason but Ham ks-ed!
omg I was fuming like a bitch there.
-_-"
I destroyed a tower, though.
the Sentinel won.

second game:
-sd mode.
my choices: Nevermore, Tiny and the Goblin Techies.
damn.
all never use before.
in the end, I swapped Tiny with Ham's Crystal Maiden.
the game was crazy shit mad.
I realized how much I relied on Phantom Lancer's invisibility skill.
so much so that I panic everytime I get attacked.
we were so noisy.
Dylan, Ham and everyone else were practically shouting orders at each other.
there was one point halfway through the game where Jason was chasing and attacking me.
my life was orange.
and no one came to save me.
I screamed my all-time favourite foul word over and over again until someone came to my rescue.
embarrassing crap.
the gang bangs were damn funny.
Ham and Dylan were so high, they were screaming with laughter everytime someone was pwned.
I even heard Marcel swear.
loudly.
hahahahahaha.
XD
anyway.
I think I have lost my grip on Crystal Maiden.
couldn't farm enough to get Aghanim's Scepter.
I only killed one hero: Mel.
and assisted like, ten times?
thanks to the ks-ers.
-_-"
the Sentinel won the game.
probably the most memorable DotA game ever.
XD

went for a drink at Peach Garden.
saw Andy.
then BOY called, omg.
he told me about his day.
STE Idol, the S.O.S. game, the XY game and all.
I tried hard to listen, despite the noise coming from the boys.
then I had to hang up.
sigh.
I didn't get snapped at, surprisingly.
haha.

the boys asked me to host a potluck party this Saturday.
apparently Mel has a bottle of vodka and doesn't know what to do with it.
so, he's willingly letting us have it.
I don't see any problem in hosting the party.
but we'll be much better off at Jason's.
need to discuss this matter with Papa and Mummy first.
although I'm quite sure they're ok with it.
I mean, the boys are my dad's alcohol la sap tangs.
every year, they come to my place and finish off the leftover beer from Chinese New Year.
efficient, eh?
and I still have beer left in my fridge.
=P
speaking of Chinese New Year, I miss gambling.
but omg, my playing cards are with Chang Yi.
-_-"
oh well.
we'll see how it goes.

I just realized that I'm gonna leave Kuching next Friday.
but I don't wanna leave!
haha so loso right me.
well, I won't be seeing Jason anymore for God-knows-how-many years once he leaves in September.
and Shaemiee too.
and Ee Rong too.
I'm gonna miss all of them.
T_T

ok, I have no idea why I'm all emo now.
I think I need to sleep, pronto.
better stop here.
nights, all.

Amigurumi s'more.

crocheted an Amigurumi s'more yesterday while waiting for Restaurant City to undergo maintenance.

without flash.

with flash.

this is how it is supposed to look like.

mine is an epic fail, obviously.
not cute enough.
looks weird.
colours all wrong some more.
oh well.
I have cheap and lousy yarn and no skill.
-_-"
I shall proceed on crocheting something else.
Photobucket
p.s. Restaurant City is not working again!!!
X(
*attempts to pull hair out*

DotA milestone.

I had a funny dream today.
I was at some sandy place (could be a beach, not sure) with BOY and Kuo Chun.
BOY was lying on the sand, suntanning.
then he fell asleep.
Chun took out his violin and played Czardas.
but only on the D and A strings because the G and E strings were missing (wth?).
I went, "BOY, BOY, wake up! Chun's playing Czardas!"

then the real BOY rang.
that was at 1.00p.m.
thing is, I could've rejected the call and gone back to sleep to continue the dream.
I've a knack at doing that, provided there is no distraction when I wake up.
but, nah.
what's BOY in a dream compared to the real one who's voluntarily calling me on my phone during his STE lunch break?
XD
so I answered the call and crapped till 2.00p.m.
we reenacted ijustine's YouTube skits.
by the time he was back in class, I was all energized already.
X)

Restaurant City wouldn't work the whole afternoon.
so I chatted with Marcel.
on Facebook.
he showed me a few videos of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 on YouTube.
it's something like American Idol.
only thing is, European countries compete against each other.
the music is good.
I shall show the videos to BOY when he's done with STE and hear what he has to say about it.
and according to Marcel, the performance from Estonia was good because the girl is pretty.
haha.

added ijustine's videos to my blog footer.
her funniest videos, ever.
made them huge for my convenience.
btw, she commented on the ijustine post I put up last Friday after discovering her videos.
w00t!
happy happy joy joy.
XD

anyway, I also did crocheting this afternoon.
I first learnt to crochet when I was nine, in school.
I crocheted a coaster and did a pretty good job.
however, I abandoned crochet when I was ten.
until I went to Sungei Wang Plaza one day.
I entered a shop selling yarn.
and that was when I decided to take up crocheting again.
I'm working on an Amigurumi S'more now.
let's see how it'll turn out.
XP

went for violin class in the evening.
I can do vibrato now!
but cacatedly lah.
need to practise with Tim.
probably this weekend.

Mummy made ice blended mocha today.
it's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo delicious.
can make for sale already.
still not up to Starbucks standard, though.
if only I had the equipment, I'd bring them to UTP and make smoothies everyday.
haha.

Mel and Ham came back today.
Jason fetched me for DotA.
he was emo-ing like crazy in the car.
ranting non-stop.
kinda scary, actually.
me and Marcel were like, *silence*.
I think it's his teaching job stressing him up.
kolien.

met up with Dylan and the rest at GizmoGamers.
fought for seats and teamed up.
the Sentinel - me, Dylan, Ham, Brendan.
the Scourge - Jason, Marcel, Mel, Alvin.

first game:
-ap mode.
I used Phantom Lancer.
game was ok.
the Sentinel won.

second game:
-sd mode.
ended up choosing the agility hero, Clinkz.
thank God for the Wind Walk skill.
cowards like me need skills like that.
Jason was sorta annoyed because I always use heroes who can make themselves invisible.
=P
the Scourge won.
sigh.

BUT!
a very big but.
for the second game, I ranked higher than Dylan!
he's like, my DotA si fu ok.
so it is actually a VERY BIG deal quite an achievement.

1. Jason Chai - Jason
2. mel - Mel
3. SexyWanFook - Ham
4. mkzl - me
5. cloud9 - Dylan
6. mildred - Alvin
7. blue zone lexus - Marcel
8. Open - Brendan

no supper tonight.
everyone wanted to go home early.
T_T
I'm hungry.

p.s. Shaemiee's leaving today.

Last lunch and last game of DotA with Ee Rong.

Shaemiee's text woke me up at 11.11 this morning.
he was asking me out for lunch.
I agreed to tag along.
he fetched me at 12.00p.m.
then dropped Jason and Sharon (Jason's sister) at Marcel's.
Sam rang Alvin and forced him out again.
so we went to fetch him.
then Ee Rong.
he's gonna fly off to KL at 7.00p.m.
T_T
one less kaki DotA now.

anyway, we met up with Marcel at Thompson's Corner.
drove to The Original Carwash.
freaking awesome place.
I'm so going back there.
it's owned by Tan Sri Ting Pek Khiing, by the way.
and they actually do wash cars.

a whole shelf of plates and antique items.

Sam's dragonfruit juice.
something different, eh?

I had Fettucine Carbonara.
and Vanilla Caramel.
freaking yum.
felt like heaven.
*cue heavenly music*

there were ten of us.
the other side of the table talked about... I don't know, DotA?
my side of the table kept talking about politics.
it's just normal, seeing that the place is owned by a politician.
cursed a lot of people at the same time.
haha.
I was eating really slowly and celaka Jason kept bugging me while eating.
-_-"
after I was done, we left for GizmoGamers.

Sam's face looks much better now.
now my face is breaking out.
thanks to the sleepless nights.
X(

brace faces!

Marcel's car behind.

Damien's car in front.

Sam's awesome parking skills.
he managed to reverse park into this uberly small parking lot, which Damien assumed wouldn't fit his car.

last DotA game with Ee Rong:
Dylan, Ee Rong, Damien, Alvin, me versus Jason, Sam, Marcel, Brendan.
good game.
managed to farm enough to get a Butterfly and Diffusal Blade again.
Dylan says that our team farmed fairly well in the game.
it could've gone wrong, though.
Sam was on my and Ee Rong's lane.
Sam was using an intelligence hero and we were both using melee heroes.
it would've been impossible to farm.
but anywho, Sam didn't spam skills.
so, hooray for us.
The Sentinel are OWNING!
at least we managed to win the game, for Ee Rong's sake.
X)

Marcel drove me home after DotA.

the ever-so-inconsiderate Jason shifted his seat all the way back just because I was sitting behind.
gosh.

at BDC, we saw this Transformers roadshow thingy.
people were unloading stuff off a Transformer-worthy truck.
haha.

p.s. BOY's at STE.
hope he's able to adapt.

St. Teresa's Food and Fun Fair 2009.

I didn't sleep at all the night before.
followed Mummy and Mil down to school at 7.30a.m.
Uncle Peter, Big EE, Jie Jie and Colm Colm came along too.
there was already a lot of people.
walked around.
didn't buy any food because it was still early.
bad move.
-_-"

then Mummy went somewhere else to have coffee with Big EE and Uncle Peter.
Damien arrived at 9.00a.m.
I took the car.
we went to Dylan's.
waited.
while waiting, Damien rang Marcel.
he decided to come.
I rang Alvin.
forced him to come along with us.
went to fetch Marcel first.
then Alvin.
drove back to school.
rollercoaster ride.
=P

gave the car back to Mummy.
then we walked around the food stalls.
then went up to the hall to check out the game stalls.
Alvin, Damien and Mil played this mini basketball game.
not bad, they managed to get 16 shots.
then they played another shooting balls type of game.
Marcel and I just stood and watched.
Damien tried out some coconut bowling game.
then I tried out the Rubik cubes at a stall.
they set a time limit: two minutes.
and I was like, "I'm so gonna win all your prizes."
if there's one thing I'm good at better at than most people, it's cubing.
not just cubing.
speedcubing.
XD
I played it twice only, though.

then we felt really thirsty and hungry.
so we went to get some food and drinks.
ate at St. Jude.
Mdm. Salbiah's spaghetti was really good.
after eating, we went back up to the hall.
by that time, the stalls were already starting to close.
hung around for a bit.

at 1.30p.m., the St. Joseph students started flooding the place.
then Jason arrived with Adrian.
hunted for food.
not much food left.
but they managed to find something to eat.

overall, the carnival wasn't what I expected it to be.
maybe because it was a St. Teresa's Food and Fun Fair without a HAUNTED HOUSE!
wth.
that's like the main channel of income for the whole freaking carnival!
no matter how lame and cheesy it turns out to be.
but apparently, Mdm. Mary John (school principal) doesn't want anymore cases of hysteria resulting from it.
screw those freaking girls who get so-called "hysteria" because of a manmade haunted house.
X(

ok, back to the carnival.
I met a lot of ex-teachers.
Mdm. Jong, Mdm. Fu, Mdm. Catherine, Mdm. Kong, Mdm. Salbiah, Mdm. Yustina, to name a few.
met my friends too.
both seniors and juniors.
Amanda and gang a.k.a. my band juniors.
Dee and Chiong Kit.
二姐.
Ivanna and company.
Georgie and company.
Anne.
people from lower classes who used to bully me a lot in school last time.
they actually smiled at me.
I guess people do change when they grow up.

right, back to main story.
Jason drove us all home.
me, Mil, Marcel, Damien and Adrian.
it was a bit of a squeeze but I was dying already so who cares.
I felt like I was drunk.
couldn't open my eyes.
tao hin hin like Hung Chiek.
dropped by Hopoh.
then Sam's.
then home.

*fast forward*
mass at 6.30p.m.
was sleeping away in the church during Father Chua's sermon.
very very super super long.
couldn't really concentrate.
actually, I couldn't concentrate at all.
-_-"

Dylan texted.
Ice Age 3 at 9.30p.m. or something.
then change plan.
DotA.
fine.
he picked me up.
then Brendan.
then Marcel.
then Alvin.
decided to go to bing! while waiting for Jason the slowpoke.

had ice blended White Caramel latte.

and lasagna.
yeah, it looks disgusting.
thanks to me who tried to slice it into nine pieces.

we crapped about random stuff.
about the statue behind Alvin.
the wood carving of humping elephants on the wall.
food.
the carnival in the morning.
my sister.

twin phones!
Alvin's and my W960s.
I got it first, btw.
mine's the better-looking one, obviously.
=P

Jason arrived later.
he freeloaded on the lasagna, as usual.
we left for DotA after that.

DotA update:
(note: I really should put a widget on my sidebar just for my DotA updates.)
Alvin used Treant Protector and killed a lot.
more than Dylan did, at one point.
not much progress on my side.
I managed to farm enough to buy what Dylan called "good items".
Diffusal Blade and Sange and Yasha.
X)
Dylan drove us all home after the game.

Sam back in Kuching + DotA + interesting supper + getting shot = omg.

omgomgomg I'm so happy tonight!

DotA update:
Phantom Lancer.
one game.
one kill (Brendan K. haha).
two deaths.
one assist.
teammates: Dylan, Ee Rong, Damien.
opponents: Jason, Shaemiee, Marcel, Brendan.

this is such an achievement.
I think I'm gaining more control over Phantom Lancer.
I mean, since when do I die like, less than ten times?
need to work on my cowardliness now.
haha.

uh oh, seems like my blog is turning into an update stream about my DotA progress.
cannot, cannot.
people are so gonna get/already bored with my blog.
right.
update about something else.

supper with the boys after DotA at Peach Garden just now.
halfway walking, I saw Hui Shiong.
I was like, huh?
then I saw Darren.
and Wan Sin.
and William.
a.k.a. my UTP seniors.
got shocked for a second.
then went over to talk to them.
apparently they were on a vacation (duh).
but like, the visit-a-lot-of-places type.
Hui Shiong gave me a long list of places they visited.
"Labuan, Bintulu, ... Kuching."
Kuching is their last stop.
looks like Kuching has become a very interesting place to visit for UTPians.
this is the third group of UTPians in Kuching this semester break.
another group of seniors (Xiao Ci, JJ and gang) are with Ham and Kerry at the moment.
cool.

walk, walk, walk.
saw Charlemagne.
he asked me about uni and stuff.
then he told me that Brendan C. and company were somewhere around.
said bye.

I ordered my food.
went to the table.
saw Errol.
he shouted at me for not calling him out for DotA.
*sheepish smile*
went up to the pool place to see the others for awhile.
Ning, Karen C., Karen L., Brendan C., Sam Maoh.
went back down.

saw Maryann.
she asked if I was going to the St. Teresa's Food and Fun Fair tomorrow.
well, I don't have a choice, do I?
my sister's part of it.
and according to her, my ex-teachers are asking me to make an appearance.
my mum's asking me to follow her and all.
she actually offered me to help my sister's teacher at the stalls!
without asking me!
dulan man.
thank goodness my dad was on my side.
=D
so I'm gonna drop my family off at school tomorrow morning.
fetch Dylan and Damien.
and maybe Sam.
go back to school.
hang around.
send Dylan back at 12.00p.m.
go back to school.
meet up with Jason and Adrian at 1.30p.m.
hang around until everyone's done shopping and playing games.
then Jason's gonna drop everyone home.
should be fun, eh?
hope everything goes well.
Marcel should know what I mean.

supper tonight was very animated.
I don't know how, but it just was.

ok, I was just about to blog more about my night.
but I just got shot.
my heart's pumping so fast.
it hurts.
a lot.
I'm scarred.
I don't know why.

p.s. I just realized that this post has two Sams, two Brendans and two Karens.

this bitch girl, ijustine, is phenomenal.
she's like, the Russell Peters of the Internet.
XD

BOY stumbled upon one of her videos on YouTube.
then he got me to watch it too:

this one: I WANT A CHEESEBURGER!!!!!!!, is a must-watch.
it's crazy funny.
to me, at least.

this one is bitchy: COFFEE BIAAATCH!!
I can just die laughing, watching her videos omg.

Phone calls.

I'm so glad that the Rotaract Goodwill Trip to Sarawak post is done.
spent a whole week working on it.
slept at 6.00a.m. this morning after posting it up.
then BOY called at 8.30a.m.
we had so much fun crapping and talking about all the accumulated, unsaid topics that I didn't feel sleepy.
talked to him till 12.00p.m.
too bad we couldn't break our previous record of talking on the phone for six hours.

now I'm sleepy.
going back to bed.

Rotaract Goodwill Trip To Sarawak.

I'm so left behind on the STE post that I don't think I wanna post anything about STE anymore.
so let me post up this cerpen about the Rotaract Goodwill Trip to Sarawak.
it was very successful and I bonded greatly with everyone, especially my senior Rotaractors.

people involved:
Karen Na (the project director)
Harvin (Hotwind. haha!)
Kuo Chun (the professional photographer with his trademark "10 seconds, 6 pictures" shoot)
BOY (MONKEY in Kuching + ROOSTER in Sibu = MONSTER / Food la sap tang)
Javier
Yen Pinng
Andrey Walter
Stella (driver/tour guide)
Aamir (sole international student from Pakistan)
Mr. Saiful (officer from the UTP International Students' Unit a.k.a. our advisor)
me (driver/tour guide)
Shaemiee/Sam (driver/tour guide))
Kuching Rotaractors (headed by Ms. Sorensen Lau)
Sibu Rotaractors (headed by Ting Zing Seng)

Day 1

ARRIVAL AT KUCHING INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Rotarian Arthur missed his flight because he misread 1530 as 5.30p.m. instead of 3.30p.m.
-_-"
drove to the airport to fetch BOY and Aamir at 5.00p.m.
BOY got new haircut.
looking much better at the moment.
XD
drove them to Singgahsana Lodge.
Karen was waiting for us there.
the place is so freaking pretty.
everyone loved it.
fully air-conditioned.
and the rooftop lounge is simply awesome.
X)

FELLOWSHIP WITH KUCHING ROTARACTORS AT SARAWAK CLUB AND GARDEN HILL

waited for everyone to get dressed.
I had to borrow Karen's collared top just to enter Sarawak Club for dinner.
blonde me.
-_-"
we had dinner at the Hornbill Restaurant.
introduced ourselves to the Kuching Rotaractors (led by Sorensen) and Rotarians.
ate our hearts out.
BOY and I found the angmoh, Robert, really amusing.
BOY nicknamed him Choo Yeong Seang.
haha.
X)

the Rotarian named Ariff talked to us about random stuff.
our table spent quite some time talking about the history of Sarawak.
which was, well, kinda interesting considering the fact that it wasn't read out loud from the Sejarah textbook.
however, despite the yummy butter prawns, I was actually dozing off towards the end of the dinner.
-_-"
it ended at 9.45p.m.

group photo at Sarawak Club.

then Michael suggested we go to Garden Hill.
I have never heard of Garden Hill in my life.
discovered that it's located just one floor below Topspot Food Court.
it has a yau-yau atmosphere but it's a lounge.
BOY ordered a cocktail which tasted like medicine.
he finished it anyway.
then Sorensen played the "How many cows?" and "Fuzzy Wuzzy" riddles with us.
"Fuzzy Wuzzy" was easy to figure out but BOY hasn't figured the "How many cows?" one yet.
haha.
we took a group photo outside and left at 11.45p.m.
I dropped everyone back at the lodge and drove home.

group photo at Garden Hill.

Day 2

COMMUNITY SERVICE AT THE KUCHING AUTISTIC ASSOCIATION (KAA)

woke up super early and drove down to Singgahsana.
had breakfast (toast and juice) at the lounge.
drove to the Kuching Autistic Association.
we were greeted by the staff.
Mr. Andrew briefed us on autism.
then we were brought around the centre to see the autistic children and the therapy carried out in hopes of healing them.
we also spent some time in the "gymnasium" where there are apparatus designed specially for autistic children.
most of them are used to improve the children's limit of stability.
we tried them all out and also tried interacting with the autistic children.

after that, Bernard, the psychiatrist, got us involved in an activity.
I forgot the name of the activity.
but it was really funny.
we were supposed to do some role play.
a teacher working with an autistic child.
it turned out to be a huge joke among us all.
I feel so bad; we were making fun of it throughout the trip.
O_O
we took group photos and left at 11.45a.m.

BOY and I playing with an autistic girl, Nurin.

group photo at the Kuching Autistic Association.

went to Chilipeppers.
had lunch.
sent Mr. Saiful and Aamir to the mosque near Electra House.
drove back to the lodge.
rested.
went to pick Mr. Saiful and Aamir from the mosque.
drove all the way to UNIMAS.

VISIT TO UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA SARAWAK (UNIMAS)

the place is freaking huge.
it's like a space station.
like some NASA training base.
UTP kalah lor.
we got lost trying to look for the Chancellory.
I don't think anyone would get lost trying to find our Chancellor Hall.

one of the staff gave us a briefing about the history of UNIMAS and all.
they even have their own bottled water.
alkaline ionic water.
Mr. Saiful is gonna try to get UTP to manufacture its own bottled water too.
and appeal to get us air-conditioned hostel rooms.
X)

we went on a tour around the campus.
we visited the civil engineering faculty.
entered the cement lab.
and another lab where they make models of houses.
very creative.
but I have a strong feeling that si fu would do a better job at it.
XP

we then visited the much anticipated bowling alley.
which is, fortunately, a task on Mr. Saiful's to-do list.
we want a bowling alley in UTP!
got pool table some more in the bowling alley.
Chun, Michael, Javier, BOY and I had a round of bowling.
Chun and Michael damn pro at bowling man.
freaking pro.
-_-"
then BOY and I camwhored till 5.30p.m.

me and BOY at the bowling alley.

group photo at UNIMAS.

before dinner, we dropped by the airport.
hung around for awhile.
I dropped the rest off at Peach Garden.
went back to shower and pack.
Mummy drove us all back to the lodge.

YAU-YAU AT PARAGON, TRAVILION
(NOT PART OF ROTARACT GOODWILL TRIP)

BOY and I chilled out at the lounge.
we messed around with the beach net thing and camwhored again.
we were just killing time while waiting for Michael and Chun.
at 11.30p.m., Michael arrived and brought us to Paragon at Travilion.
he and Chun brought their friends along.
so me and BOY felt kind of out of place.
I called Sam up.
he joined us.
BOY had Chivas (I think) and I had vodka.
Sam drank out of our cups.
the rest is history.

*fast forward*
Michael drove me, BOY and Chun back to the lodge.
we survived.
apparently, BOY brought me up to the lounge again.
we stayed there till I was sober.
Chun was still crazy, though.
we mixed around with a group of foreigners from Australia.
they were high, too.
we took photos with Megan, an Australian-Filipino and Chevonne, an Australian.
went to bed at around 4.00a.m.
that was when I lost my voice.

hanging out on the beach net thing.

best friend, boyfriend, me, photographer.

Day 3

SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE AND BUNTAL

got up early for Indian rojak at Rock Road.
fetched Sam after breakfast.
drove to Sarawak Cultural Village.
watched the cultural performance at 11.30a.m.
visited all the cultural houses.
took heaps of photos.
Sam left for home and came back halfway.

BOY and I on the stage after the cultural performance.

group photo at one of the cultural houses.

group photo at Sarawak Cultural Village.

Sam drove us to Buntal to have late lunch.
we had oh zien, bamboo crab clam, soup and other ordinary food.
then halfway through lunch, Javier played a game with us.
it's a riddle called "Connections".
when you first hear it, it does not make any sense at all.
it ridiculously DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL.
and so, all of us tried to figure it out.
a few of us already knew the trick, though.
-_-"
they played the game all the way back to Kuching.
Sam figured it out while driving halfway.
then he started a new one, "Bang Bang Bang, who died?".
that one was a bit weird, too.
kinda stupid, but hey, what more can you expect from Sam?
just kidding.
X)
by the time we reached Satok, I figured the "Connections" one out already.
and I nearly strangled BOY (who was sitting in front) to death.
it's so stupid lah.
the trick makes you feel like a stupid loser.
like, omg.
-_-" -_-"

anyway, Sam dropped himself back home.
I drove back to the lodge.
relaxed a bit.
then brought BOY to Spring to exchange the PDI belt I bought him for a rightly-sized one.
persuaded the salesgirl to let BOY change the belt.
he got himself a prettier one.
then we walked around.
we were practically ogling at all the good-looking models on the walls of the shops.
we always do that.
BOY can be such a good window shopping partner.
*winks*
nothing much to see in Spring, actually.
I mean, come on, for one coming from KL (fuyoh since when was I from KL), Spring is like, what, Giant?
haha, just kidding.
like I told BOY, Spring is Kuching's Pavilion KL.
-_-"

after Spring, brought BOY to ArcoStrings to get his cello strings.
freaking expensive, man.
but the shop manager looks professional so I might actually go back there to get myself a tuner.
see first lah.

BBQ AT MARG'S HOUSE
(NOT PART OF ROTARACT GOODWILL TRIP)

drove back to the lodge.
waited for everyone to get dressed.
(note: part of the jobscope of becoming a driver: wait for everyone to get dressed.)
drove BOY, Karen, Harvin and Chun to Marg's for BBQ dinner.
Javier and Yen Pinng arrived later.
Sam too.
we ate till we were bloated.
there was so much food.
camwhored a bit.
then someone took the tuak out.
the rest drank.
Marg downed like, half the bottle I think.
-_-"

after dinner, we chilled out in the living room.
then Sam drove me, BOY and Chun to my house just so that I could shower.
and pack.
and get my laptop.
and the extra bottle of tuak.
BOY's like a kid lah.
I had to take my violins out just so that he has something to do to entertain himself.

brought my laptop to Marg's.
Chun transferred photos.
Karen and Harvin played Twister with my sisters.
Javier played guitar.
Yen Pinng fell asleep on the couch.
BOY was bored and went to sing karaoke with Sam in the living room.
Sam dropped us back at the lodge at around 11.30p.m.

group photo at the BBQ in Marg's garden.

BOY and I brought the bottle up to the lounge.
he drank half the bottle.
damn lihai lor.
that bottle of tuak freaking strong leh.

Day 4
Sunday, 21 June 2009

BAKO NATIONAL PARK

woke up freaking early.
had breakfast.
slept in the van all the way to Bako.
freaking near lah, if use shortcut.
obviously.
thank goodness I didn't drive.
would've taken ages to reach because I know no shortcut to Bako.
-_-"

reached the jetty.
while waiting to board the boat, BOY and I watched mudskippers.
haha lame right.
X)
wore our lifejackets before boarding the boat.
journey took about, half an hour?
I'm not too sure.
kesian Karen kena sprayed by water because she sat at the side of the boat.

reached the shore.
had to take our shoes off to walk to land.
took some photos.
walked to the office.
waited for Chun, Michael, Sorensen and the rest.
took a group photo.
headed off to the Telok Pandan Kecil trail.
trail length: 1.5km.

hiked all the way to the top.
sweat until nearly die.
the view up there was incredible.
camwhored.
took a group photo with our banner.
Karen (RACUTP) and Alex (RAC Kuching) exchanged bannerettes.
took more photos.

hiked down to the shore.
BOY stripped took his shirt off to dry.
he seriously sweat until his whole shirt was wet.
I tried to make a hanger thingy for it but failed.
then BOY wanted to go down into the water.
I lent him my shorts.
he went down.
I was bored.
went to make this sandcastle/zigurat thing.
then Chun made me go into the water too.
bo pien lor.
got dragged into the water.
play, play, play while waiting for the boat.
we decided to go back by boat because lazy wanna hike all the way back.
Aamir did, though.
so semangat.
he really enjoyed the hiking.
went to fetch him when the boat came.

me and BOY at the shore.

group photo at Bako National Park.

we dropped by Parkson to eat at KFC.
then we went walking around.
Parkson also nothing to see one lah.
-_-"

walked back to the lodge.
suggested to BOY that they should try Scoops out.
Kuching's Baskin-Robbins.
haha.
slept for an hour or so.
got up.

crossed the Sarawak river on a sampan for dinner.
had dinner on the other side of Kuching.
rode the sampan back again.
the others went to meet Michael, Chun and Alex at Scoops.
BOY walked me back to the lodge.
Kung Kung drove me home.
showered.
packed.
Kung Kung dropped me at Scoops.
but the others were done already.
dang!
T_T

group photo at Scoops.

SINGGAHSANA ROOFTOP LOUNGE

walked back to the lodge.
went straight up to the lounge.
took the bottle of remaining tuak out.
everyone drank.
I didn't.
X)

we played pool.
again, Michael and Chun were the pros.
those two memang pro at social games one.
like pool, bowling, darts and all.
I had a few tries.
damn my accuracy sucked big time.
-_-"
need to practise more.
I actually like pool.
X)

after pool, we left a message from RACUTP on the wall of the counter of the lounge.
that's the cool thing about Singgahsana Lodge.
their customers get to leave messages on the walls of the lounge.
the walls were full so we did ours on the counter.
I don't think anyone would get the message, though.
because of the inside joke.
regarding Bernard.
haha!
XD
went to bed at 1.00a.m.

group photo on the rooftop lounge.

message from RACUTP to the Singgahsana crew.

Day 5
Monday, 22 June 2009

woke up even earlier than Sunday.
had to eat breakfast fast.
loaded the luggage into the van and Michael's car.
headed for the wharf.
reached the wharf with time to spare.
Michael damn funny lah wear PJs out.
XD

BOAT RIDE TO SIBU

boarded the express boat.
BOY and I went to the deck for the first half hour.
went back inside and it was freezing cold.
had to lend BOY my infamous oversized Harry Potter shirt just so he won't freeze his ass off.
slept for awhile.
woke up.
we both went outside again.
to sunbathe.
w00t.
I'm super tan now.
so not balanced, my skin tone.
and BOY looks like a lakia now.
he's proud of it some more.
-_-"
camwhored.
sunbathed till we reached the Sibu wharf at around 1.45p.m.

got off the boat.
got shocked when we saw the UCS Rotaractors welcoming us with a banner.
that was a real sweet gesture.
we introduced ourselves.
took a group photo.
loaded ourselves together with luggages into the cars.

group photo in the boat.

me and BOY suntanning on the boat.

group photo with the UCS Rotaractors and the banner they made to welcome us.

went to have lunch.
I made BOY eat kampua mee.
he wasn't really impressed.
oh well.
*shrugs*

went to Eden Inn where we were staying.
it's just next to Sacred Heart Church.
my parents got married there!
just a fun fact.
XP
anyway, I was to stay with Karen, Harvin and Yen Pinng that night.
X)

VISIT TO RANTAU PANJANG LONGHOUSE

the UCS Rotaractors drove us to the longhouse at around 4.00p.m.
we presented gifts for all the families in the longhouse to the tuai rumah.
explored the place a bit.
took a lot of photos.
most of the penghunis weren't home.
they were out working.
only a few adults and some kids were around.
Karen gave a speech.
so did the tuai rumah.
took photos with him and the few kids.
left the place for UCS, which was nearby.

BOY, me and the longhouse kids.

group photo at the Rantau Panjang longhouse.

VISIT TO UNITED COLLEGE SARAWAK (UCS) CAMPUS
(NOT PART OF ROTARACT GOODWILL TRIP)

the UCS campus is cool.
cool in a sense that they name their buildings after Tufail Mahmud's family.
Tufail Mahmud is our Chief Minister, Taib Mahmud's brother.
seeing hostel buildings named after his wife and daughters is something I've never seen before.
because I know his daughters.
they were from Marg's school.

anyway, Hie Siang and Zing Seng gave us a short tour of the campus.
then we hung out in front of the main building.
Chun decided to have a photoshoot.
you know, his "10 seconds, 6 pictures" thing.
we did crazy poses.
in the air.
Chun took photos of BOY's, Harvin's and my shirts too.
because mine said "omg!".
BOY's said "I'm a chocoholic."
Harvin's said "Hotwind".
so we arranged ourselves: omg! Hotwind, I'm a chocoholic.
yeah, it's cheesy.
but whatever lah.
just for fun.
X)

group photo at the UCS campus.
macamlah it's our university.

DINNER WITH RAC SIBU, SIBU ROTARY CLUB AND SIBU WATER BOARD

went back to Eden Inn.
washed up and got dressed for dinner with Sibu Rotary Club and Sibu Water Board.
it was at Tanahmas Hotel, just across the street.
we were late though.
the Rotaract advisor, Dr. Gregory, dulaned because we made the V.I.P.s wait.
-_-"

the dinner wasn't all that bad.
the food was ok.
service was kinda sucky.
the Sibu Water Board played a few videos regarding saving water.
videos not unlike the one we watched during STE.
we had our own form of entertainment: chopsticks.
Chun was teaching Aamir how to use chopsticks.
Harvin was all hyped up because she could use them to pick peanuts.
the chopsticks wrapper actually had instructions on how to use them.
I recorded a video of Chun and his disciple, Aamir.
cute.
at least Aamir learned something new.
X)

people from the press were there.
they took group photos of us.
photos to be published in the newspapers.
XD
then we left for the pasar malam.

group photo with RAC Sibu, Sibu Rotary Club and Sibu Water Board.

SIBU PASAR MALAM AND KARAOKE
(NOT PART OF ROTARACT GOODWILL TRIP)

rang CK to meet up.
didn't do much.
Harvin and I both got ourselves a pair of cheap shades each.
loving my pasar malam shades.
X)

then BOY gatal suddenly wanna go karaoke.
so we went.
the UCS Rotaractors, BOY, Chun, CK and me.
tao tia lah go there.
the room was freaking small.
I was suffocating in there.
felt really sick.
hadn't gotten my voice back, so couldn't sing.
on the other hand, BOY and CK enjoyed themselves.
sing until stand on the sofa.
one thing good, though.
first time hear BOY singing on the mike.
X)

after karaoke, went for supper at some food court.
we had drinks.
then went back to the inn.
I was really tired.
and losing my voice did not help.
-_-"

I was sunburned, not drunk.

Day 6
Tuesday, 23 June 2009

we had breakfast at the top floor of the largest wet market in Sibu.
I introduced two new Foochow dishes to everyone: tin pian hu and rice cakes.
BOY played his role really well as my and everyone else's la sap tang.
X)

COMMUNITY SERVICE AT THE SARAWAK SOCIETY FOR THE BLIND (SIBU DIVISION BRANCH)

went to the Sarawak Blind Centre.
we were briefed by Dr. Gregory.
we watched the blind weave rattan baskets for sale.
then we were put under the supervision of the caretaker.
the boys painted the fence.
the girls did housework like sweeping, mopping, wiping, etc.
haiya like maid's work lah.

Yen Pinng and I learned something new that day.
we learned that we can actually mop carpets!
wow!
like, whoever mops their carpets?
but someone there said that their carpet is made of nylon or some synthetic material then can mop.
then me and Yen Pinng bo pien lor.
mop ma mop lor.
no point arguing.
-_-"

I bought a rattan basket for Papa for Father's Day.
it's for him to put all his gadget junk thingies.
he likes it.
=)

shifted downstairs to help with the fence.
didn't do much.
fooled around with the rest a bit.
took a group photo.
community service done!

group photo at the Sarawak Society for the Blind.

fooling around while painting the fences.

the Rotaractors brought us for lunch.
where?
Rafie Café!
and what's so special about that café?
it's owned by family!
family as in, dad's cousin.
ok, just another fun fact.
too bad second cousin couldn't recognize me.
-_-"

I ate half a bowl of laksa, gave the other half to BOY.
Dr. Gregory talked to BOY and I about UTP.
then he talked to the journalist.
when we were done, we took group photos.
left for Wisma Sanyan after that.

group photo at Rafie Café.

WISMA SANYAN AND DELTA MALL
(NOT PART OF ROTARACT GOODWILL TRIP)

at Wisma Sanyan, we walked around for a bit.
then Andrey, Javier and Yen Pinng had to leave.
Andrey, for a plane to Sabah.
Javier and Yen Pinng, for a bus to Bintulu.
we bid them goodbye.
then we walked around on our own.
BOY and I walked into Parkson.
BOY bought a collared shirt.
I love it.
he wanted to get an S-size (which would make him look gay) but I made him take an M-size.
I have heard enough about BOY's gayness.
-_-"
omg that sounded freaking weird.
-_-" -_-"

went back to the inn after shopping and window shopping.
everyone washed up and started packing.
loaded our luggage into the cars.
CK joined us.

then the Rotaractors brought us to Delta Mall.
it's a newly-opened mall in Sibu.
CK, BOY and I walked around the whole mall looking at, nothing in particular.

by 6.00p.m., we were all hungry.
so we went to Singapore Chicken Rice to have dinner.
not a very ideal place to have dinner in Sibu, in my opinion.
oh well.
camwhored like mad while waiting for the food to be served.
camwhored a bit after eating too.
we paid for Hie Siang's, Zing Seng's and Benjamin's dinner as thanks for all that they did for us.
=)

we left at around 7.00p.m.
BOY's, Karen's, Harvin's and Aamir's flight was at 8.15p.m.
and Sibu Airport is quite a distance from town.
so Hie Siang and Zing Seng sped all the way there.
we reached the airport half an hour later.
alive.

me and BOY.

the five stooges at Singapore Chicken Rice.

DEPARTURE AT SIBU AIRPORT

Chun, the three Rotaractors and I queued up with BOY and the rest at the check-in counter.
I was already feeling glum at that point; I didn't show it.
Chun took photos.
we posed for him.
we crapped all the way to the departure gate.
deep inside, I was already missing not only BOY, but everyone else.
I was secretly hoping that their flight would get delayed.
exchanged hugs with everyone.
hugged BOY and didn't want to let go.
he was all, "haiyo you, three weeks only lah."
I was gonna break down any moment.
thank goodness I didn't.
can't explain how I felt at that time.
thinking about it now is just gonna make me tear.
T_T
bid our last goodbyes to BOY, Karen, Harvin and Aamir in the departure hall.
left the airport.

group photo at the Sibu Airport.

really didn't want him to leave.

THE END

so that's that.
my first time hosting friends from overseas (literally) in my hometown, Kuching.
and my other sort-of-hometown, Sibu (where BOY says I have more authority because I can speak Foochow).
*hau lien hau lien*
XD
it was a really fun week.
I want to thank Karen for successfully organizing this trip.
it is my pleasure being the driver/tour guide for everyone while in Kuching.
I am so taking part in the next RACUTP trip.

p.s. this post took me a whole week to complete.

Pool.

today was productive, I can say.
went for violin class with Marie (fourth sister) at 2.00p.m.
tried to perfect C major and G major scales.
played a Grade 2 exam piece.
still not satisfied with my progress.
T_T

went to Dylan's to play guitar after violin class.
Ee Rong was there with his electric guitar and little amplifier.
freaking cute lah his amplifier.
seh seh zhiak nia.
and his guitar is so cool!
it's RED!
fooled around with the guitar.
figured how to play the introduction part of Classical Gas.
sounds good on the electric guitar.
I want one too!
X)
oh, and I took the DotA game from Dylan.
w00t.

Ee Rong dropped me home at 5.00p.m.
played one round of DotA with the AI.
I lost, obviously.
but I think I'm getting better at using Phantom Lancer.
need to familiarize myself with him more.
this means more training!

which was why I was disappointed (kinda) when Dylan asked me out for pool just now.
but I went anyway.
he picked me up.
then went to fetch Marcel.
and Ee Rong.
on the way to Jalan Song for pool, Ham rang.
"wanna play DotA or not?"
"with who?"
"my friends lah."
all of us couldn't resist.
XP

so we played DotA with Ham and his UTP friends.
not bad, I was second in my team.
X)
but second game, sigh.
eleven people.
and I had to be the one getting kicked out.
turned out that Marcel voluntarily quit the game too.
so there I was, in a cyber café, Facebooking and playing SDO when I can do it in my own house.
-_-"
and it's actually kinda weird seeing people like JJ walking around in Kuching.
haha.

anyway, when the second game ended, Dylan, Ee Rong, Marcel, Kerry and I went for pool.
Dylan and Ee Rong versus me, Marcel and Kerry.
Kerry and Dylan damn pro, just like Chun and Michael.
our team won two out of three games, though.
even though my aim is so bad I can't aim to save a drowning BOY.
Kerry had to help adjust the cue stick for me so that I could aim properly.
-_-"
despite all the embarrassment, I'm starting to like pool.
uh oh.

p.s. BOY just ranted 500 lines of randomness on Gtalk.
all in one hour.
